The Green Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities which are working on environmental issues as part of their core mission. All public donations made to participating charities via the BigGive website during the week of the campaign (22-29 April) will be matched up to a specific amount. Each participating charity will be awarded a ring-fenced amount of match funding which will be used to match public donations. All the match funding is provided by donors; charities do not need to secure their own pledges for the campaign. Charities can apply for general funding rather than a specific project and can use the campaign to raise unrestricted funds.
